Butterflies and Mother’s Day

On our way home from the scrubbed launch of STS-134, we stopped at one of our favorite museums, the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville. In addition to having some outstanding fossil exhibits, they have two galleries of rotating exhibits and a Butterfly Rainforest. We stuck around long enough to see two different butterfly releases, including a male Atlas moth.

In other news…I did get a little craft time in for Mother’s Day and created cards for the Moms and Grandma in our lives. They didn’t turn out magazine-perfect, but that’s OK and they all loved them.
