One of the big attractions of this house during our search was the water feature in the backyard. Problem was the upkeep. Over the last couple of years we had pump failures and other issues keeping us from keeping up, so to speak. Thanks to anniversary gifts, we decided to have the pond cleaned out and repaired and it’s now back in full force. It think it’s even better, honestly. We’ve stocked it with a few little goldfish and have at least three frogs in permanent residence. It’s so nice to sit out there, in the shade, and hear the water splashing and watch the fish and birds dart about. I can’t wait for this fall, when I can open the windows and hear the waterfall’s gentle tinkle. Especially at night as I fall asleep.
ooooo thats a nice pond and waterfall. We love our waterfall….and chose not to have the pond to go with due to mosquito problems here. I should show you a picture of ours. I love the sound of it.
