Posting has been a bit sparse of late – sorry ’bout that. Here are the highlights:
- Went on the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Membership Appreciation Cruise. Yeah, it was a Disney thing, but it was free and the Mouse stuff was tolerable. DS had a great time as did his parents.
- Went to Albuquerque to visit my sister for the better part of the following week. Yeah, now nuts is that? One bit of advice I can give you is to not travel to Albuquerque by way of the Bahamas. Visualize two adults and a child in the Cocoa Beach Hilton Parking lot with every bit of luggage and clothing spread out on the pavement, trying to insure that the cold weather clothes GO and the beach clothes STAY.
- Had knee surgery. It went well.
- During recuperation for the knee surgery I managed to come down with a massive sinus/upper respiratory thing. Went to the doctor and everything. Still running a fever, even though I’m on antibiotic pills large enough for Seattle Slew to swallow.
So, that’s about it from me. I’m pushing fluids, taking amazing amounts and combinations of anti-inflammatory and pain relieving drugs and itching to leave the house (ha!).
